Hong Kong Engineering Associations Alliance
(香港工程界聯盟)
For the purpose of achieving the following objectives, it was agreed by the Parties to form an alliance: –
- Professional sharing, and
- Networking
- Where appropriate, comment and give opinions to government bureau and departments (mainly engineering related or society related)
- Where appropriate, nominate or send representative(s) to government or non-government boards/panels/committees (mainly engineering related or society related) etc.
- “Hong Kong Engineering Association Alliance (HKEAA) (香港工程界聯盟)” will be adopted as the official name of the Alliance
- There would be a Convenor on rotation by each institute each year. The role of the Convenor is to ensure the smooth operation of the alliance in accordance with the agreed consensus. HKIBSE represented by Ir Dr. C K Hung was appointed the first convenor of the alliance.
- The alliance would annually organize joint activities including but not limiting to the following: –
- Annual Spring Cocktail
- Professional / Academic / Technical Visit
- CPD
- Annual Dinner
- Working committees to provide comment or opinions to government bureau and departments (mainly engineering related or society related)
