本會及理工學院校友會與多間大學校友會聯合主辦講座: 以工程師的觀點對”鉛水”問題再探討，約六十位校友出席。
合辦機構包括: Hong Kong Polytechnic Alumni Association, UMT Hong Kong Alumni Association, Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers, Hong Kong College of Engineering, Hong Kong Institution of Facilities Engineers, Institution of Data Centre Engineers and the supporting associations are Building Services Operation and Maintenance Executives Society (BSOMES), Hong Kong Institution of Chief Engineers (FM), PolyU Electrical Engineering Alumni Association.
主講嘉賓包括Ir. Dr. King Wong及Dr. Y.C. C han。Ir. Dr. King Wong從業界及工程師角度解說超標原因及作出探討。從目前情況，他認為超標並不嚴重，lead poison的機會不高。 Dr. Y.C. Chan則從業界資深醫生角度解說指標及作出探討，他指出在過往數十年，lead poison的個案寥寥可數，亦非因食水引致。他認為目前超標個案，lead poison的機會並不高。出席者都十分投入及獲益不小。
